1 Week, 1 Day

Things are really winding down. 1 day of work left. Also, 1 week to closing day... moving out of a house where I lived close to 20 years.
Do I feel nostalgia? Not at all. The house has many ghosts... and I don't mind leaving them behind.

Coming Health Benefit Shocks for Canadian Retirees - an article in today's Star which pretty much dis-spells the myth of 'free' health care in Canada. Just one more thing that's bullshit in the 'True North'.

 "...the average cost of medical extras for those between 18 and 80 is $1,561 a year in Ontario..."

Thanks Canada, for making me pay for dental care, eye care, drugs, and other things.
